Does Virgin Anywhere work with Apple TV or HDMI out?

I use the virgin anywhere and sky sports app all the time since one side of my family has all the sports channels where I do not. I was looking for a way to display the sports on my iPad onto my TV. I thought that a way this will be possible is to mirror my iPad with Apple TV, or I could buy the HDMI adapter and use that as I do not buy much off iTunes. Can anyone confirm if this works for me please?

The TV Anywhere App has protection against customers trying to pass the signal on to another display/device (error D1 is encountered when attempting it), the Sky sports apps may also have similar protection too. The intended purpose is for viewing only on the authorized device's screen.

No way. Is there no way for me to get it to work? I have no other way of watching the sports and would to watch it on a screen larger than 11".

If your device is a laptop or desktop machine, you can output via VGA/HDMI.

It is an iPad. I can't get Virgin Anywhere to work on my PC for some reason.

Were you trying to use Chrome? It isn't supported. IE & Firefox are.

Chrome is not supported (as you've been advised), if that is what you use on the PC. Also make sure that the flash player plugin is up to date

Re: Does Virgin Anywhere work with Apple TV or HDMI out?

Hi justathrowaway,

Thanks for your post and welcome to the forums.

I'm sorry to hear that TV Anywhere is not working on your PC.

There could be a few reasons why, with the browser being one of them.

What sort of error messages do you get when trying to use the website?

Have you been able to get as far as signing in?

What browser are you using?

Is this and Adobe Flash up to date?

Let me know.

Thanks,
