Re: Do i need a virginmedia email address to log in TVAnywhere on a Android?

Hi xxamine,

Thanks for posting and apologies for the problems you are having logging into TV Anywhere.

The address I would use is the same address that you would use to log in and view your bills.

When entering this address, what error are you facing?

Let me know.

Thanks,

Hi xxamine,

Thanks for coming back to me so quickly Smiley Happy

I would try changing the password within My Virgin Media to ensure it is within the rules. Give this a try and let me know if that helps Smiley Happy

Thanks,

Re: Do i need a virginmedia email address to log in TVAnywhere on a Android?

Hi xxamine,

Thanks for trying that. I'm sorry to hear it hasn't worked.

I'm afraid the next step would be for me to try signing in at this end on a PC/Laptop to see if I can replicate the issue. We would then be able to get this raised up to IT to resolve.

Due to this being a public forum, i'm not able to request your password and due to data protection i'm not able to reset it either.

You'll need to give the team a call on 150 / 0345 454 1111 for them to run through the next step in diagnostics.

Let me know how the call goes.

Thanks,

Xxamine... do you have a TiVo box? You need TiVo services to use the TV Anywhere apps. (You can still use the TV Anywhere website without TiVo)

Re: Do i need a virginmedia email address to log in TVAnywhere on a Android?

Hi xxamine,

I can see where the issue lays after your response to Stoo.

The TV Anywhere apps are designed for use with the TiVo®. If you no longer have an active TiVo® subscription then the apps wont allow you to sign in.

TV Anywhere is available via a PC / Laptop for non TiVo® customers.
