Device not detected - Code 107

Hi

 

I have nt used TV anywhere for a while, I tried to use it today but I got the error message above.

 

I had 2 devives registered one I use all the time the other I havent used in a long time.

 

I decided to delete the 2 devices and re register my laptop, however I still get the above error message.

 

I am using I.E. 11

Thanks for your post. 

 

I'm sorry to hear you are having an issue with this. Can you let me know what device operating system you are using?

 

Make sure you delete your cache and cookies to see if this helps. 

 

Check that your Flash player and browser is fully up to date and that cookies are enabled.

Hi I am using Windows 8.1

 

I have deleted all cahce & cookies, and all is upto date

I am selecting a channel to watch, I get asked for my login, I click on the play symbol and then for a few seconds there is a message on the screen trying to detect device then I get the error message.

I've been getting he exact same issue.  Tried it on 2 computers both with IE 11, both worked last week.  When you first enter the Virgin TV anywhere site you are presented with a message which states "unsupported browser" and tell you that the service is only compatible on a PC or though one of the Apps.

Addition: The message I get states "Device Restricted with the same error code of 107

Hi both, 

 

Thanks for the extra information on this. 

 

I'm really not sure what an earth could be causing this Smiley Frustrated

 

Can you both give the team a call on 150 / 0345 454 1111 so they can get some screenshots and get this raised to the IT Team.

Hi Kath

 

I contacted 150 as per your advice.

 

I allowed them to take control of my laptop, and they went thru the same process that you asked me to do, cookies, cache etc.

They informed me my device was registered contrary to the error message.

Eventually they deleted my device and registered it again which of course I wasnt able to do, and this solved the problem.

Thanks for your help it is now working fine.
