Device Limit Reached Issue

Hi,

I am also experiencing device limit issues for the last couple of months  and would like some help.

at first i lost all services so i had a device change available , so i deleted the firefox browser that used to work off my device list , rebooted and re added it , this solved the virgin side , but i had lost sky movies , i tried your online help, clicked the "tvanywhere" link after tapping for 20 odd mins got a lovely bloke telling me i was in the wrong place and had to ring the tv support guys. i dont really have time to sit on the phone again so thought id try here ,,,,,as its the 1st i tried once again to delete/readd the firefox browser but it still wont let me into sky, could someone please address this issue.

in case it matters, I'm using Firefox ver 47.0.0.5999 and I'm running Windows 10 Pro 64 bit

Thanks for your post and welcome to the forums. It's great having you here Smiley Happy 

 

I'm sorry to hear you are having an issue adding your device for use with the Sky apps. 

 

The TV Anywhere and Sky platforms are separate and therefore not synced so any changes made to one, also need to be made to the other. 

 

You can manage the devices you have registered for use with the Sky platform by going to anywhere.virginmedia.com > My Profile > Sky Movies & Sky Sports. Remove one of the devices you currently have registered in order to make room for the one you are trying to use. I have added a device change for you to use to add the new device.

 

Once you've done that if you try streaming again, it should work.

hi i did try to reset the sky device settings both times it didn't seem to work :/  still have a device limit issue on sky

Thanks for coming back to me on this Smiley Happy 

 

OK, I've gone in today and completely reset the Sky Platform for you. This means there are no devices registered and you have a device change left to use. 

 

Try again streaming from one of your devices and let me know how it goes.

Hi Guys , My sky movies on tv anywhere has dropped again , no changes to my pc except some minor windows updates , and sky movies is giving me , unable to register this device you have no changes blah blah ...this is the same pc i always use is really frustating, pls help
