Connecting TV anywhere to TV

I have the TV anywhere ap in my iPhone 6. I am able to see and watch my recordings. I can't however connect to watch live TV. It is asking if I'm on the same network, I am? I have re booted and still won't work. Whatever I try it won't work? Please help.

Re: Connecting TV anywhere to TV

First of all, you cannot watch your recordings via TV Anywhere.

What you can do is manage your TiVo resources, such as series links, planned recordings,...

You can watch live TV but only those channels with the wifi symbol. Try channel 104.

Re: Connecting TV anywhere to TV

You can't connect your phone to a TV because the broadcasters won't allow it

Re: Connecting TV anywhere to TV

There is only 1 way to use a TV to watch TV anywhere and that is to connect a Desktop/Laptop to it and use the TV as a monitor.

Andriod and iOS mirroring will not work and the same goes for the AV connectors for iPhones/ipads.

Re: Connecting TV anywhere to TV

It is unlikely Virgin would permit this as it would kill the market for multiroom TV boxes, which brings in a lot of additional money.
