Cant get TV Anywhere working with my tablet

Tablet : Samsung Note 10.1 N8010

Android version : 4.4.2

Device status : Official (not rooted)

SuperSU is not installed

TV Anywhere app version : T2.2.2-797984

Yet when I try to stream it says"unauthorized modifications detected"

Why is this?

Re: Cant get TV Anywhere working with my tablet

Hi delta,

Thanks so much for your post and apologies you've not yet been able to get TV Anywhere working with your device.

Checking the list of supported device, I can see this device is fully supported so this suggests the issue is with the device itself.

Has it ever been rooted?

Is this device brand new out of the box from the shop?

Have you made any amendments to the OS at all?

As it's giving the unauthorized modifications detected message it means this is tied to the device itself.

Come back to me on this.

Thanks,

Re: Cant get TV Anywhere working with my tablet

hello,

No the device has never been rooted

The device is a few years old now it is not one of the new tablets

The only amendments to the OS have been upgrading android from version 4.1 to 4.4.2 sometime ago

I understand it is tied to the device but I have no idea what could be causing it, all my online bank apps work fine (normally they dont if rooted)

Re: Cant get TV Anywhere working with my tablet

Hi delta,

Thanks for coming back to me on this.

You've mentioned you haven't got the SuperSU app, have you got Superuser app on there at all?

The only thing I can suggest is possible performing a factory reset on the device. This will take it back to how it was when it came out of the box however by doing this you will be wiping your tablet so make sure anything you want / need is backed up first.

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks,
