Cannot biweekly content on my ipad

i am using TV Anywhere on my iPad Mini 4. The device is registered. However I cannot watch any content. When I press the Watch Now button it just comes up Watch On TV.

What am I doing wrong?

Re: TV Anywhere Connecting to Virgin Media

Hi MEDwatch,

Thanks for coming back and apologies to hear it's still showing as you need to be a TV customer.

I've gone in to the account today and raised this up with IT for you. The reference for this is: P007397725

The team's SLA is 10 days however they are usually a lot faster than this. I'll pop back in a few days with an update for you.

Apologies for the inconvenience.

Thanks,

Re: Cannot biweekly content on my ipad

You are trying to watch a channel that cannot be streamed.

Only channels with a wifi symbol can be streamed. Try channel 104.

TV Anywhere Connecting to Virgin Media

TV Anywhere works fine until I try and stream to my iPad Mini. All it ever says is "Connecting to Virgin Media" and it never connects however I long I wait.

Re: Cannot biweekly content on my ipad

Unfortunately that is not the case. I can select a channel to stream but all I get is "Connecting to Virgin Media" and it just keeps trying to connect and never does.

Thanks for responding.

Re: Cannot biweekly content on my ipad

...but that's a different problem from the one described in your original post.

The first problem is very much symptomatic of trying to stream a channel which cannot be streamed as you do not get the Watch on iPad option.

Your current issue, assuming you are streaming a streamable channel and are connected by a suitable wifi, is possibly intermittent and worth simply trying again. Logging off then on again is also worth a try.

Re: Cannot biweekly content on my ipad

Thanks. I have tried for two days. Reloading the app, rebooting the iPad, logging off and on. I have never been able to connect and stream live TV.

...then I would try a reset of your TiVo.

Re: TV Anywhere Connecting to Virgin Media

Hi MEDwatch,

Thanks for your post and apologies to hear you are having an issue trying to stream from your iPad Mini.

What iOS is your iPad currently updated to?

What channel are you trying to watch?

Are you connected to wifi or 3G/4G?

Do you have streaming working on another device?

Come back and let us know so we can look in to this further for you Smiley Happy

Thanks,
