Can't connect to device!! Help

Hi, I have been trying to use the tv anywhere app for a couple of weeks now and I'm having no joy with it at all!!
Took a week for the daft technical message to go away and then eventually lets me sign in and when I do it won't connect my device so I can use it as a remote!

TiVo has it's own internet connection, separate from your home network.

It uses that and the co-ax connection to get what it needs.

Is the box you're trying to control a TiVo?

If so, it has to be connected to your home network, as well as to the co-ax.

If V6, it should work.

Yes I am using a TiVo box and All is connected as it should be,???

How is your TiVo connected to your home network Superhub and which Superhub?

Connected through wifi..
I am using the 3.0 hub( don't actually know which hub I have just did a quick google lol)

TiVo doesn't have wifi so it can't be connected to your home network and the TV Anywhere app can't be used as a replacement for your physical TiVo remote.

If you want to do this you will have to connect your TiVo to your Superhub, either by a direct Ethernet cable or powerline adapters.

Sorry my bad I assumed it was wifi as there no Ethernet cable connection. If my box isn't connected to the internet by wifi or Ethernet how does it constantly update with new stuff (box sets and movies) allows access to apps like Netflix and so on?
