App detects modifications on Pixel C, unrooted, new from Google.

I very much doubt you can help with my problem. Virgin certainly don't seem interested now they have me tied to a contract. Why would the TVA app detect modification's on a Pixel C ordered direct from Google and fresh out of the box? Regards Harry

Having exactly the same issue. Also annoyingly the Sky Sports app detected my device as a new device after 6.0.1 upgrade!

Re: App detects modifications on Pixel C, unrooted, new from Google.

Hi Hammers666,

Thanks for your post and welcome to the forums. It's great to have you involved in the Community.

Usually this only happens if there is either an app called Superuser or SuperSU installed or the OS isn't what we require for TV Anywhere to run.

Do you have either of those apps on your phone?

What version OS are you running?

Let me know.

Thanks,

The tablet is new direct from Google so has no modifications. No unlocked bootloader, no super user or super su, no root. It is running stock 6.0.1

Re: App detects modifications on Pixel C, unrooted, new from Google.

Hi Hammers666,

Thanks for coming back to me on this.

It looks as though the app is detecting something otherwise it would work.

Other than what I've mentioned I'm not sure what else could cause this error to come up.

I've sent an email over to the team to see if they are aware of anything. Once I hear back from them I'll come back to you on this.

Thanks,
