Android TV Anywhere Error V 500

I am trying to watch Sky Sports but keep getting 'Error V500'. I have SS subscription and my phone is a Sam Galaxy S5.

Footy is starting, please help!

Thanks for your post and apologies to hear you missed the footy last night. 

 

How are things looking today? Have you been able to stream via the Sky Sports channels?

Do you still get the error messages?

 

When using TV Anywhere, do you get the same error or is this only when using the Sky app?

Kath,

Thanks sorted now. Didn't realise it was a separate app.

The TC Anywhere wasn't redirecting me to the Sky App, just showing the above error code.

Downloaded the SS App all sorted.

I have upgraded to xl package and can stream itv, etc to my nexus 5 phone but can't stream any of the xl channels as I keep getting v:500 error. I have uninstalled and reinstalled anywhere app but its not working!!

I also have this problem on nearly every channel I try. Plus the app keeps asking me to register the device. Most annoying.

Thanks for your post and apologies to hear you are having the same issue as the OP Smiley Sad

 

In order to help get things resolved I will need some more information from you. 

 

Are you using the Online or App version of TV Anywhere?


If online version:
What OS is your PC/Laptop running?
What browser are you using and which version is it?
What version of Flash Player are you using?
Do you get anything different if trying another browser?

 

If app version:
What is the make and model of your device?
What OS is the device running?
Have you used the app on this or any other devices previously?


Let me know so we can help further with this.

Hi Kath thanks for your reply. I am quite ok with my pc but a complete numpty as soon as we get into apps etc. I have  LENOVO TAB 2 A10-70F running Android 5.0.1.  As far as I am concerned I am running the TV Anywhere on the App. No I haven't used the app on any other device. I think that answered all your questions let me know if I have forgotten anywhere. If you can get my tablet to run bbc iplayer and cricfree as well I would be eternally grateful.

Thanks for coming back to me on this and for answering the questions Smiley Happy

 

As there are other streaming apps that are not working, the issue may be with the Tab itself. 

 

The device you are using is enabled for use with TV Anywhere however it's not supported so advice I give is limited in this situation Smiley Sad 

 

Do you have extra accounts set up on your tablet for different users or do you only have the default account?

Thanks again for your patience whilst looking in to this. 

 

At this point I really am stuck. We've gone through all the diagnostic checks and as other streaming apps aren't working either we can only suggest this is an issue with the tablet itself Smiley Sad

 

If calling 150 / 0345 454 1111, we may be able to put you in touch with a third party team who can help however there would be a charge. You are of course welcome to seek help yourself too though Smiley Happy
