Android Marshmallow

So Google is encouraging developers to get their apps ready now for the upcoming Android version. I wonder how long it will take Virgin Media this time to update TV Anywhere?

Re: Android Marshmallow

Hi denyo1977,

Thanks for your post Smiley Happy

Apologies for the delay in responding, I wanted to ensure I had the correct information to offer first.

We are currently testing TV Anywhere for use on Marshmallow however some features are not available to test until the full version is released.

Things are looking good at the moment but we won't know for sure until the actual release of Marshmallow.

once we have any information, we'll let you know.

Thanks,

There isn't a specific update - because it's already working http://community.virginmedia.com/t5/TV-on-the-go/Android-M/td-p/2927018

Re: Android Marshmallow

Any update on when it will be installable on a Nexus 5x then? Currently your device is not supported when trying to install.

Re: Android Marshmallow

Hi Rmarsh,

Thanks for coming back to this post.

TV Anywhere already works on Android Marshmallow so we won't be looking to run an update regarding this.

The device you've mentioned however, doesn't currently work with TV Anywhere due to the new screen density size not being recognised. This will need an update on the app however we're not quite there to release this yet.

Once we've gotten the fix in place for this, I'll let you know.

Thanks,
