Android 6.0.1 and TV Anywhere

Any news on a date for a fix for TV Anywhre to allow streaming on 'Out of the Box' Android 6.0.1 devices, specifically for the HTC 10 ?

Re: Android 6.0.1 and TV Anywhere

That's the best answer you can give? This phone has been out for over 3 months, within the next 3 months it's due to be updated to Android 7.0, you've just put my bill up another £3.49 and justified it by telling me all the great things I get. I don't get TVanywhere. Shouldn't I get a discount due to the fact that you can't give me what I'm paying for? Give us an actual update as to how far along with it you actually are, rather than fob us off with nonspecific, generic answers. Your attitude towards Android users is terrible.

To be honest it just the same for all of us, no 4g, poor mobile porting, contract ordering, customer service, I could go on.

By now you should be feeling one of the family

Re: Android 6.0.1 and TV Anywhere

Hi both,

I understand just how frustrated you are as I am also waiting for this to be resolved as an S7 user.

It seems the 6.0.1 OS has a slightly different version of Android installed that the app doesn't recognise and therefore won't work.

As soon as we have information on this working with 6.0.1 devices, we shall let you know.

Thanks,

Re: Android 6.0.1 and TV Anywhere

Hi both,

Thanks for your posts since my last reply.

As much as I wish my reply was different, it's still the same. I have no information on how any update is coming along or when it will be released to resolve this.

As soon as I have any information, I will of course let you know.

Thanks,

Re: Android 6.0.1 and TV Anywhere

That's excellent news. I'm currently waiting on HTC releasing Android 7.0, which they promised to have ready before the end of November, 3 months after they received it. Will TVanywhere be ready for Android 7.0 anytime soon?

Let me guess, you don't currently know, but you'll tell us when you have more information..........
