Accessing pre recorded stuff?

I've downloaded the TV Anywhere app on my andriod phone and Tablet. I can play live TV from the Guide with no problem, but if I go to My Shows and try to watch something already recorded it won't connect, I find the connectivity guide to complicate. I rang Virgin and they said you can't do that. You can record remotely and you can see the list but you can't watch them, is that true??

Re: Accessing pre recorded stuff?

It's a sad fact that VM call centre agents will say pretty much anything to get you off the phone.

On this occasion, they are correct.

Re: Accessing pre recorded stuff?

You don't believe what Virgin Media have told you?

Why would I, or anyone else on here, be more reliable if I were to confirm that you cannot watch recorded programs from My Shows via TV Anywhere?

Re: Accessing pre recorded stuff?

ITV2, ITV3, ITV4 & ITV Be are all on TV Anywhere for streaming. You can configure the app to only show streaming channels if it helps. HD versions of any channels can't be streamed.

Re: Accessing pre recorded stuff?

No. It's the channel's decision whether they want to allow streaming, and the BBC would prefer you use iPlayer. After using TV Anywhere for a while, you'll understand why.

The ability to download & view shows offline being one of many reasons...
