Specific config

Hi all,

I have a Superhub 2ac.

How can I setup the router so that:

1. It switches off at a specified time and back on at another specified time

2. A list of sites are blocked from a specified time to a specified time.

3. It's possible to manually switch the router off and on from anywhere in the house on a mobile phone with a web browser.

all help is appreciated.

Re: Specific config

For point 1, plug the hub into a 24 hour clock gizmo, the ones that go into a wall socket and have a pass thru socket and  a dial for activating when is on ,when is off. About £5 at amazon

1. you can block access via ->
superhub 3-> http://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Switched-On-Families/Set-internet-time-limit-for-child/m-p/31388...
other hubs -> http://help.virginmedia.com/system/selfservice.controller?CMD=VIEW_ARTICLE&ARTICLE_ID=27649&CURRENT_...

2. you can block some domains via the hub interface but doesn't block HTTPS (secure web access)

Re: Specific config

You dont.

You can set specific devices to have specific access times. But URL level filtering and control by app are not available.

You can purchase a higher end router and stick the HUB in modem mode. That will allow you to get the feature set you want.
