Router level wifi management

Hi

I would like to be able to control my home wifi network access to limit the amount of time my kids spend surfing/gaming.  There doesn't seem to be a way to do it through logging on to my router, and I was wondering if anyone else has software or an app to do this.  I'd be happy with something as simple as limiting certain devices to certain times of day (e.g. Xbox only between 4-6pm Monday to Friday).

thanks

Re: Router level wifi management

Hey there gforce1,

Thanks for posting and a big welcome to the community Smiley Happy

I'm sorry that you're unable to control access to your connection via your Superhub, we're aware this is a feature which is missed.

I'm not sure of any software that provides this service, but I do know that other routers allow such configuration.

It might be worth looking into a 3rd party router and then putting your Superhub into Modem Mode.

Apologies again for this,

Take care.

you could look at e.g. -> http://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Switched-On-Families/Set-internet-time-limit-for-child/td-p/3138... this will set limits on time.. there is parental controls on xbox http://support.xbox.com/en-GB/xbox-360/security/xbox-live-parental-control
