MAC Filtering is not working after Router Restart HUB 3.0
I have enabled MAC filtering to restrict Internet Devices at certain times of the day. Whilst this seemed to work initially, my teenager just restarted the router a few times, and it seems to overwrite the MAC filtering......can someone please help?
MAC filtering has been cleared after signing with the default password; located on label on bottom of router
Try changing the default password to see if the problem persists.
BTW, be aware that MAC filtering can be circumvented by obtaining a valid MAC address and spoofing it to obtain access; where the device is physically connected or the wireless network password is known.
