Doing a search on home page

When I bring up the home page and want to search for something in the search box, it is automatically reverting to search virginmedia rather than the web.  I have to click on "web" to be able to search fully.

Can anyone tell me how I can make the web the default for my search?

Re: Doing a search on home page

Hi, Revstuart

Sorry but you can`t set it to web. If you want to keep http://www.virginmedia.com/ as your home page you will need to move it to the web search manually

You can also set a new home page say https://www.google.co.uk or https://uk.yahoo.com/ on help to do this go to https://support.google.com/websearch/answer/464?hl=en

Regards,

Martin
