Allowing Snapchat through Childsafe

I have recently switched on Childsafe but would like to allow the teenagers access to one social media platform - Snapchat via wifi. They access this through an app on their phone rather than a website.  How do I do this please?

You can't, you don't get to choose what is or isn't blocked when using childsafe, you either have all of the blocks or none of them, any of the alternative solutions could be bypassed, and snapchat isn't exactly considered to be child friendly enough to be allowed in a blanket use scenario

Have you tested it?

A lot of apps aren't compatible with the blocking methods used by childsafe so work irrespective if its off or on....

Thank you both.  You've confirmed what  I suspected.  Shame the program doesn't permit you to 'allow' certain sites as well as 'blocking' additional sites.

Oh, and banning 'chat' does block Snapchat I found!

Optional categories that are blocked can be overridden by adding the domain to allowed websites, for example, Snapchat:
