Re: when are we likely to see 400Mbps or more?

Next big thing is likely DOCSIS 3.1 for VM. (or so i hope)

Re: when are we likely to see 400Mbps or more?

tbh with you, i would rather it be docsis 3.1, as long as it reduces the average latency on virgin, because its not the most consistent.

Don't encourage them! They will sell it without upgrading anything knowing they can't provide it.

I however don't think Virgin will be around long enough to see speeds that high if they keep scamming people the way they are at the minute.

Im sure a lot of people would rather have the bigger upload speed.

Or the speed they are supposed to have now (they can't seem to manage 100mb in my area)

True, let them spend the money in all areas that are crippled not just the 10% headline speed areas.

Agreed, they should consolidate what they've got, bring some stability to the saturated areas then move forward from there.

Re: when are we likely to see 400Mbps or more?

they dont have to bring upgraded speeds to those areas that are over utilised though, ive been with vm around 1 year, and ive had 2 hiccups, apart from that, they have been far superior to bt who btw are con artists.

but tbh, i would rather see lower ping than higher speeds, if i could get the speed i get now and like 8-12ms to uk servers, i would be the happiest possible.

Re: when are we likely to see 400Mbps or more?

what i dont get about vm is this

a6ff590b0f60b5cfeff75123db01e535

how can the blue line be the average latency when the yellow line is higher at every point, this is the only dislike i have about virgin, latency is not consistent.
