I'm in Nunhead (SE15, Virgin area reference 21) and on the 50Mbps broadband package. For several weeks now evening speeds have been terrible - routinely under 3Mbps, to the point that watching streaming video is impossible and general browsing is slow. I have seen other people on the forum complaining about low speed in the area due to high utilisation; if anyone from Virgin is monitoring this forum can they please let me know whether there are any plans to fix this?

My apologies that you are experiencing slow broadband speeds during the evening.
I've taken a look at your connection and there is a high peak time traffic fault in your area which is causing these slow speeds. Our networks team are investigating the problem and are improving bandwidth and performance to help with this issue. The reference number is F003576042 and with a review date of 21st December.
