Welcome to the plague. I really don't know how they get away with it but it is disgusting.
It took a year and five months for me to get my speeds back from over utilisation!

Really sorry to hear you're experiencing speed issues.

 

I've located your account and I can see an issue with the network in your area affecting speeds at peak times - Ref.(F004199470). Our technicians are working to get this resolved and have set a review date of 5th April 2017.

i just checked my upstream power lvl's and they are both on 44.3  my downstream lvl's go from -1.7 to -1

If you have not done so already, get VM to discuss your loss of service credits that you are entitled to with regard to the network issue in your area affecting speeds at peak times - Ref.F004199470.

I am in an OVER UTILISED VIRGIN MEDIA AREA - poor speeds of 0.3Mbps to 4Mbps every evening.
Contention reference "F002896495", has now become F004952644.
Ongoing since March 2014. 16 review dates... Next Review JANUARY 2018
