this is getting a regular occurrence now...

i pay £60 a month for a service that is starting to degrade, i shouldnt be lagging on 300 down!!!!

im getting very sick of this service now...

heather the issue has to be due to the school holidays, all speedtest results at this time are showing 300/20

also i never get this speed throughout the day now, it hits around 200-250 max. (i know still a lot)

so now christmas is over, im pretty much getting 300 at this time which i wasnt the last couple of weeks, lets see if i get 300 at 4-8pm.

Might be a hint that your network is near its capacity limit generally and a push like holidays will knock it over.


Best hope VM don't do a big sales push.

if virgin were to oversub my area i would leave them in a heartbeat, im out of contract soon, i wont be redoing one and il just carry on paying what i am so that if a problem does occur, i can just give my 30 days notice.

every time i speak to them they say there is no congestion, ive proven it to be the case.

 

its 5pm and im hitting 300, not had this for 2+ weeks.

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you.

 

Hope you don't mind me responding on behalf of Heather as she is currently away from the office at the moment.

 

I've had a look into this for you and I can see that a technician appointment is booked in for you today.

 

I've double checked both the equipment levels and network segment and the SNR for the area isn't performing as expected at present. The engineer will be able to confirm if there are any further issues detected.

nat what im concerned about is the engineer came rang 2nd line support who told me there is nothing wrong, yet its 6pm and my speeds are dropping yet again, so i want to know if there is utilisation or not because im getting told 2 different stories, thanks.

 

the engineer replaced my hub 3 for a newer one and off he went, he was a good chap, but my issue isnt solved, and if it carries on il be forced to leave vm, not something i want to do, but something im not afraid to do.
