Gettng around about the same here so we can take it that it is a local problem and the engineers are on to  it

Re: slow speeds in the ng199jp area

Tried on another computer connected to the same SHUB2 and that is getting 10mbps too, so both computers can't be mis-configured can they? Rebooting the SHUB did nothing either. Tried the online service check and it get's to about 37%, pops up a yellow triangle with an exclamation and says to wait 10 minutes and restart your equipment! Speedtest.net using Nottingham server powered by VM  shows 13mbps now so it's improving!!

Oh, and the Service Status says no known issues so it must be us two at fault Smiley Happy

Re: slow speeds in the ng199jp area

NG5 here, my speed hovers around 1mb-3mb between 12pm and 12am and generally stays there. I'm on the 50mb package.

I am in a Virgin Over Utilised Area - F003320128 - Ongoing faulty unreliable service from Virgin Media since July 2015

Re: slow speeds in the ng199jp area

Well various speed tests show mine's gone 'upto' around 30-50mbps depending on the server used, still well short of 150mbps so my area has either suddenly got congested or it's a fault. The Service Status still shows no issues and the 'Run test' option test still never completes and just spams me with a restart request after 10 minutes!

Re: slow speeds in the ng199jp area

Same here at around 50mbps.... Looks as though there is a system outage in several areas

Re: slow speeds in the ng199jp area

Yeah, just wondering If this is deliberate throttling as most people are still off work, especially schools so kids so are playing all the 18 rated games like COD / Battlefield / GTA etc, downloading movies, watching stupid youtube vids and generally caning the connection so easier to throttle everyone so their network doesn't collapse!!

Re: slow speeds in the ng199jp area

thy throttle a network to stop the bandwidth being used when people using it will do the same thing without wasting unused bandwidth
