Where does it say you get low latency on the gamer package?

Re: gamer 200 so slow

Gamer package doesn't lower latency.

If anything it actually increases latency if you were a superhub1/2/2ac instead of the 3 you have to have on the gamer (and it's puma chip issue)

The gamer package is for streamers, not gamers.

Peak time kills your speeds for 2 potential reasons.

1) you are testing wirelessly and wireless congestition shoots up in peak times
2) you are in an area that has peak time contention.

Re: gamer 200 so slow

Virgin are just confusing their customers by calling this "Gamer".

As mentioned above, it does nothing for latency and an upload boost won't make the slightest difference when gaming online.

Re: gamer 200 so slow

Hi ozit77,

Thanks for letting us know about your issues with your 200Mbps package being slow, I am sorry for any troubles incurred.

I have run some tests on your connection and I noticed that your area cable seems to suffer some load issues, especially during the peak hours. We're currently planning to undertake some upgrades to parts of our external network in your area in order to combat this.

The upgrades will be to improve bandwidth and performance during the peak hours, the reference number for this is F004665139 and is currently for review around the middle of April. Thanks for your patience regarding this matter, one of my colleagues will be in touch with some more information for you.

In order to make their job a little easier I will need to confirm a few security questions with you, I will send you a PM (purple envelope at the top) detailing what's needed, please respond to me there.

Take care,

Thanks,

Adam.
