I am having similar speed in the South London/Surrey area, 1.5M/5M from a 70M package since Saturday. I have no idea what is going on. I tried resetting the VM Superhub and my computers but nothing works. I am still waiting for them to reply my earlier thread.
Thanks for your post on the Forum. I'm sorry that you are having problems with your broadband connection.
Checking into this, I can see that you have already arranged an engineer visit and that my colleagues have also responded to your other posts.
We'd be grateful if you didn't request support for the same issue across multiple threads as it can make it more difficult for us to assist you effectively and also impacts us helping out other customers.

so ive done multiple speed tests over the last couple of weeks.. and all have been during peak time.. and speeds have been between 1.5 and 8 mb..
ive not had the chance to do speed tests anyother time.. as i work ..
ive got home from work early today and did a speed test and hit 40 + mb/s here is my router stats..
i will guarentee that my speed will drop ridiculasly at peak times .. this is no good to me as i work during non peak times.. i pearsonally dont think an engineer is needed at my house as my stats look good from what i have read...
I am also paying for a 50mb service (supposedly been upgraded to 100mbs) but am lucky to receive anything like that. Gaming is now impossible, as is streaming movies... have contacted Virgin who say there is a "utilisation fault" that may be resolved by end of Feb 2017! Not good enough I'm afraid..I switched from BT coz was assured I would have no issues. Now it's worse than ever! Looking at switching asap as they are in breach of contract as far as I'm concerned..
