Wolverhampton 04 review update please

I was told that my area was to be reviewed on the 5th of may to assess the need for an increase in capacity, can someone please tell me if this was carried out and what the results are.

Ok I'm averaging 30 when I'm supposed to be 200 but your compensating me for that but I would love to see it higher again with the need for compensation removed

I average about 12 up but I don't upload

It did get a little better the end of april beginning of may but its back to how it was. worst of all are the constant 'no internet' drop outs????????? Streaming at times is a nightmare

Providing the start of your postcode would help since Area 04 covers Wolverhampton, Telford, Walsall, Dudley and some areas of Birmingham. 

This is only if you want information from someone who may be in the area with the latest information or you can wait up to a week for a forum staff to reply. Smiley Tongue

+ Capacity issues effect localities (like a few roads) but you probably already knew that.

This is an old topic going back months if not years, as an original telewest/blueyonder area it seems no one wants to upgrade us including BT at the exchanges so we are sumwhat stuck with accepting the lower speeds. I can hit Russia on a VPN quicker than normal into Wolverhampton? DONT MAKE SENSE DO IT? It seems to cover most of 04 and I believe the review was if to put a new additional line into the area.

BUT I may be wrong and it was just bull DO DO! that I was told

Well, if it reassures you. I'm in area 04, WV10 and receiving 300+ mbps no problem at peak times.

Tom..... l was quoting none peak time averages, peak time can be as low as bps, quicker using an old 32 modem phone in! my area is WS10 but under Walsall. 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

like l said they are compensating me for the loss of speed but l would rather have the speed....without the drop outs 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
