Wasn't Vivid 200 supposed to be a free upgrade

Hi

Just looked at my "Upgrades" on my "Big Kahuna" bundle, and they're now appear to be listing Vivid 200 as an "Optional" upgrade, and I'm absolutely certain this was supposed to be a "Free" upgrade.

I have to say Virgin are getting ridiculously expensive for what we get/use and the quality of the TV packages, I'm seriously thinking of going just broadband only and freeview, because I can get everything I need on freeview and at nearly £100 pm, the only part of the package that is really good is the broadband. but as I say, I was almost certain that Vivid 200 was a Free upgrade

If you can get all the channels you need on freeview why are you on the Big Kahuna?

Re: Wasn't Vivid 200 supposed to be a free upgrade

It depends how you get the upgrade. And it is always optional, not automatic.

You can recontract (which will change prices) or you can go through the banner on MyVM when you log in if your free upgrade is ready.

Not sure which one you are looking at but could potentially be the recontracting upgrade.

What does it say when you pop postcode into

Re: Wasn't Vivid 200 supposed to be a free upgrade

Hi rocco1504,

Thanks for your post and apologies to hear that you haven't yet received your free speed boost.

Checking your are, this is due to take place between February and April so not much longer to wait.

Customers on a lower package will always have an option to upgrade to the higher speed but if you're happy to wait then that's cool too.

If there is anything else we can do to help, let me know.

Thanks,
