Hi Virgin & Community, Our broadband in Walthamstow, E17 has been intermittent for the last few days. When functioning, our recent download speed measures, on average, less than 3Mbps. Upload is averaging around 7Mbps. Problems exhibited across both wired (OSX) and wi-fi devices (OSX, iOS and Android) Tech support suggested I restart my router - not really a massive surprise - but it won't restart: I can only switch off/on. Tech support suggested no further help and performed no other diagnostics. An engineer is booked for 4th Jan 2017 - some 9 days from now - the earliest available appointment. Online, my line status describes to me my speed-boosted line of 70Mbps and lists no problems. Anyone else in Walthamstow experiencing connectivity at less than 5% of the speed they are being charged for? Anyone else waiting 9 days for an engineer to visit? Anyone from Virgin reading who thinks this level of performance and service is acceptable? Best of regs, natch.
