Vivid gamer upload speed drop

so I am vivid gamer package and my upload speed has dropped last time I spoke broadband support they said reboot the the hub .3.0 weekly basis and that had been working until tonight

rebooted via network web page and that didn't solve it so turned off for 5 minutes that didn't solve it either

Re: Vivid gamer upload speed drop

18.5Mbs. Working fine. It is 'up to' and if the area usage is making it dip a tiny unnoticeable bit i'm not sure what you want.

Or is it dropping lower?

Re: Vivid gamer upload speed drop

I often get slower than noted speeds when I run a speedtest. The upload part of the site seems bad at giving accurate readings but when I actually look at traffic on my network and on the router I see that it is actually more consistently hitting 20ish than lower or higher results. I spent a week of having speed test results showing an upload speed in excess of 30Mbps which is wrong but my router was reporting correctly.

In short, your numbers look okay.

Re: Vivid gamer upload speed drop

it's been all over the place as low 12 just slightly annoyed as this package was advertisted for twitch streamers and you can't stream on 12Mbps

Re: Vivid gamer upload speed drop

You can stream on 12Mbs, and with a decent quality too (heck I’ve streamed when I was on lower packages too). Maybe you should tweak your settings a bit as you are probably going for too high a quality that isn’t even noticeable. Got to bear in mind what your viewers can watch in too.
