Well I cancelled my ivo service cause that was **bleep** and they said I would have to start a new conctract on my broadband . I was persuaded to go for the vivid gamer as I was getting poor speeds on the 100mb service before . I was getting around 30/40 mb. So basically the same as I am I getting now.
so as for the 14 day cooling off I think I am right !
The reason you're getting poor speeds is because of over-utilization by Virgin Media. This is an on-going issue all across the country and has gotten worse because they've done nothing to fix the problem but sign up more subscribers to there broadband.. I'm on 150MB connection but it can drop as low as 20 / 5 MB. It's funny, because until I switched to 150MB from 100MB which was a free upgrade I never had any issues.
