Very slow Down / Up speeds NP19 area

Any answers to this as numerous tests over last few days are pathetic and not phoning the call center again its pointless.

+1 for poor NP19 speeds (getting around 10 Mbps on a VIVID200 connection) - engineer has been out and made some changes to the cabling, stated that the "overcapacity issue" for the area was being fixed in September and that should improve my speeds. 

I joined VM back in June and have never had anywhere near my advertised speeds, if there are known issues in the NP19 area then why continue to sell high speed broadband products with no capability to supply?

this only started for me on the 27th September im getting 70mps this morning but not good enough. The branch i phoned two days ago told me in the area they were replacing a 150m cable ... Yeah right !!!.

 

The truth of it i can guess is suck the bandwidth from people that don't know any better maximize profit !!

I moved out here from NP20 area 3 years ago this is the first time (i have noticed) its gone this bad

I'm also seeing slow speeds in NP19, best i've managed since 25th september is 15mb/s

it used to be that you got a quick response on here by helpful people, seems like everyone at virgin has taken our money and run off.

update from virgin, just spoke with a 'technician'. Apparently they are doing upgrade works in the area under reference F004967122 with an expected completion date of the 8th of November. They said they should have sent a text to all customers in the area, maybe the text system is under maintenance also...

If you (manage to)contact them and make enough noise, they will credit you for the inconvenience.
