Very low speed Area 22

Hi all.

It seems that the speed problem is spreading. Since yesterday I've got speeds of 2-3 Mbps....and not 50Mb. It is ridiculously low as even dial up can do better.

Frustration comes from the fact that we are paying for better broadband speeds before they were implemented, increases of prices, have been promised better speed when advirtised on phone etc.

And at the end of the day you don't get half of the speed you're paying for.

We are not using internet 24h a day, only  a few hours in the evening after work. We should have a decent speed at least for those hours.

I'll quoate the data from router below:

Re: Very low speed Area 22

Hi.

Starting yesterday, at every 20 minutes or so, the router restart itself. Is it because of Bonfire (problems started in the same with the fireworks), works on the network or is the router?

Re: Very low speed Area 22

Hi bogdanpopa

Welcome to the community and thanks for posting your Super Hub information, this does help us further.

Many apologies that you're experiencing issues with your broadband connection.

From checking your connection, there is a high peak time traffic fault in your area which is causing the slow speeds your currently experiencing. Our networks team are investigating the problem and are improving bandwidth and performance to help with this issue. The reference number is F004039607 and with a review date of 30th March.

In regards to the time-outs that you can see it does appear to have the same time-stamp. As the Super Hub has been online for over 100 days, you can reset these timers and re-boot the router.

I will check this fault nearer the date, once there is more information, I'll be back in touch.

Regards

Sam

Re: Very low speed Area 22

Hi,

I've solved the problem temporarily. It seems that the Super Hub is at fault. I've setted it as Modem and I'm using my Netgear router in connection. Internet works fine and it doesn't reset every 20mins.

Re: Very low speed Area 22

Yeah, only temporary. It restarted again and entered router mode. So I would probably need someone to take a look at it.
