Very Slow and Erratic Download Speed on 5GHz Band

Been having issues with our virgin media internet for a few weeks now. We are on the 100Mbps package however when using the 5Ghz band the download speed is very slow and erratic all the time. Also, the internet keeps dropping with what seems like the router restarting itself, this happens at least a few times a week.

That may have been because we had VM deliver a new hub as that was their suggestion when we rang them up. Issue is still going on even with the new hub

It is best to test the connection with a device wired directly to the hub  to determine if it is an issue with the local VM network or if it is a wireless problem.
