Very Slow Broadband

Ok for the last THREE WEEKS I'v had broadband speed problems I'm on Vivid 200 - BUT can only ever get 50 meg Down and 11 Meg up.

Now I've had the engineer "Look" at it

  • First time he removed the lightning filter off the back disappeared. 
  • Second time he put a new Hub 3 in and disappeared.

All the while NOT staying around to see if the problem was fixed.

I need this sorted as this is not the speed I'm paying for I did use to get 190 Meg on a bad day.

Nothing has changed in the house in the last 3-4 Weeks but still getting the 50Meg speeds which crawl along when trying to download anything or stream from Amazon/Youtube etc.

Oh and to top it all off Virgin CAN NOT SEE my equipment !!

HELP IS NEEDED and also a REFUND on my bill for partial loss of service !!

Hi, it will take about a week for a member of Virgin staff to get to this. In the meantime we can try and see if we can work out what your problem is.

could you go to 192.168.0.1 don't log in, but click on 'check router status' and post the connection info and logs here, hiding your wan ip if its shown

Also just to confirm, I assume your speeds are wired as you previously got 190meg.

Yes I'm Wired my Wifi connection used to get 150meg max !!

This is a V3 Modem as well the 2nd one I've had. Thinking its gotta be the Cable somewhere along the line, aslo the TiVo box sometimes hangs then carrys on
