Very Awful speed at Area 12 Hallgreen Birmingham

Very Awful speed at Area 12 Hallgreen Birmingham hardly 2 to 3 Mb download, try to do service test but not success and well called virgin people they keep on hold for 20min and line disconnect .

Is any one else notice this please let me know

Sorry to read you are experiencing slow broadband speeds.

 

From checking your connection, the downstream power levels are too high at + 17 dBmV and as this will have an impact on your broadband, I would like to arrange an engineer appointment. I've sent you a PM (purple envelope icon, right corner) with some details for you to confirm please.

Hi there Jujhar,

 

Thanks for getting back in touch after the engineer appointment.

 

I can see that the power levels are now within range which is good, however you are still experiencing slow broadband speeds.

 

Looking at the network, there is an issue with high peak time traffic in your area. The reference number is F004389373 and has a review date of 5th April.

 

Do you notice these speeds at all times of the day or just during peak hours?

Hi Sam 

I notice this speed after 6 PM onward and it will be like that around 12.00AM.

Morning it's slightly better around 15 to 20 Mbs

And yes I know about this outage and for the same reason I asked Virgin to return my money for last 2 months and coming months including line rental and they said no So I am living Virgin from 7th March 2017.
As it's not make sense to pay for the service which you are not using .

Hi Sam 

As I said earlier I asked for refund and compensation for service issue but your people say only refund Broadband charges which is I think 7£ a month and I am paying 31.48£ per month so not make sense for me to pay for service which I am not using .

Just a quick update I have heard back from networks and a fault specific to your cable has been raised. Ref F005146693 for slow speeds at peak times. I do not yet have a review date as the fault has only just been raised. 

 

I would like to pop this across to the team that deals with this type of fault. I will pop you a PM to discuss this further. 

 

Keep an eye out for the Purple Envelope, top right hand corner.
