VM have increased my speed 100 to 100 but no speed increase

Last Thursday VM agreed to increase my broadband speed from Vivid100 to 150 and when I log into my account it now shows the speed increase as my provided service. However I am still only getting 100, how do I check that VM have actually sent the signal to my superhub ? (I have the first version supehub and was told a new one was not needed).

I use modem mode and can see nothing on 192.168.100.1. Also is this forum checked by VM staff, can someone check for me please? I will provide details on request. Thanks

Re: VM have increased my speed 100 to 100 but no speed increase

I assume your title should say 100 to 150?

go to 192.168.100.1 click on 'check router status'

what does it say near the bottom of the configuration tab for downstream and upstream flow

and this forum is checked by Virgin staff, but it takes 1-2 weeks for them to get to a thread

Re: VM have increased my speed 100 to 150 but no speed increase

Thanks for the quick reply...

For some reason my iPad doesn't allow me to edit stuff properly on this forum, the cursor disappears. you're right it should say 150... sorry about that. Now corrected.

I can't find a configuration tab on 192.168.100.1 I have managed to access the advanced setting using a workaround ( as the button does not enable in modem mode on the original superhub ) but still no configuration tab.

any ideas?

Re: VM have increased my speed 100 to 150 but no speed increase

An update. VM  told me I didn't need a new superhub. I rang up earlier and I do, one has been ordered, so hopefully all sorted..

Unfortunately quite often when I speak to VM I get given duff info, it's not really good enough..

Anyway fingers crossed this will work.
