Upgrade from 50mb to 100mb - slow speeds

Hi

Just upgraded to 100mb from 50mb for free but am now finding

my download speeds are actually slower than before.

How can that be?

Using 3.0 hub.

You click on the link http://192.168.0.1/ if you're in router mode or http://192.168.100.1/ if you're in modem mode

Don't login, but at the bottom of the page click on 'Check router status'  then open the section 'Configuration' then at the bottom of the page

you'll see 'Primary downstream service flow' and 'Primary upstream service flow' in those sections you'll see

'Maximum Traffic Rate' 

which will show you your speeds configuration. (the speeds you have been given by VM)

It shows the following:

downstream

Max Traffic Rate 115000000

Upstream

6320000

 

Just hard wired to the router and got 72mb download.
