Re: Update on F003864632 DY* utilisation please

For anyone tracking DY8 issues, I just got 61Mbps (on a 100Mbps line) instead of the 4-5Mbps I was getting a week ago. It may be a one off, but I hope it's the start of this being fixed.

Hello StuartMil,

Thanks for posting Smiley Happy

Apologies for the fault in your area, I know this can be a real inconvenience.

I've just had a check and I can see that fault: F003864632 is still on-going and will be reviewed on the 5th April.

How have you find the connection since your last post, has it continued to improve?

Speak with you soon,

Take care

Re: Update on F003864632 DY* utilisation please

No, it seems it was a one off. Back to 3-5 Mbps most nights again.

It has been 3-4 months now, so what are the actual fault details?

What work has been done? What work has been planned? CS here keep saying it's down to council planning permission, digging up roads, etc. What planning applications have been submitted to Dudley Council (ref #'s)? etc. Where can we obtain the fault details?

Why have we not been offered compensation?

Given that this area is due for a 100-150 upgrade at the end of February - 2 months before a crippling fault is even reviewed, it seems insane that this fault has not been fixed before even more overselling and overutilisation takes place.

Hey I am also being affected by this in Kingswinford, DY6. I was told today that the NPR 8581 fault has been closed and has now become NKE 9012, I am told this work will upgrade capacity in my area (maybe yours too?) but will take most of this year to complete. the next update due on this new fault reference is not due until 16th of August this year.
