Unstable slow or no connection at all.

Did post a message in my last thread about this issue a couple of days ago, but as that one is marked as solved not sure anyone even looked at it

past week or so am having all sorts of problems with loading web pages and mail.

It's either taking an age to load, getting an error message saying web page or mail not avalable.  and also internet connection dropping out a lot on a tablet.  and buffering like crazy on streaming sites like you tube and twitch at low quality.

This is all not just at peak time.  same issues during the middle of the night.

I dont care if I'm not getting the 100 meg connection we are paying for, just please let me at least be able to load a web page without having to take a teabreak half way through.  

Not asking for much is it.

Know it's not a PC problem, as yesterday for about an hour around midday and few other times it was all working like a dream, then back to normal for no reason.

Please look into it.

No thats fine

You SHOULD see a latency spike with a big download, as long as there's no red on it,  we happy...

As I said before seems intermittent so dont lose the link for the BQM. If it happens again, create a new thread and post the BQM

Go to your Superhub Log in screen

Do NOT log in.

Little button top right.....


Can you post Upstream, Downstream and Network logs.



Screen caps are nice, C&P will do- Don't stress about formatting if you C&P. Someone will get a look and see if there's anything obvious amiss.

Not sure if I am using the wrong number to check the hub, but run into a problem

Its not in modem mode is it?

If it is youll get it on 192.168.100.1

If its not, factory reset it.

No Connection Since Saturday Evening :(

I have had no internet connection since Saturday evening which appears to be a problem all over my area. Each time I check the status on the website it just says the engineer is on their way and the date it will be fixed is the next day at 9am. It's gone form being fixed yesterday morning at 9am to now tomorrow morning at 9am. Three and a half days?!?!?!?!?! Really!!!

Sorry you are having problems too.

It doesnt bother me at all about posting in this thread, but you may have more luck getting it sorted if you make a new post for yourself.  That way the mods will be able to look at your problem by itself.

Power levels look okayish, upstream has dropped back to 16QAM so it could be upstream impairment...

Set up a BQM

 HERE

 Run it for say 24 hrs, and post the result.

 Dont forget youll need to make sure your super hub is configured to reply to ICMP echo requests...

OK think I have it set up and running
Back in 24

And as is bloody typical in these situations, Connection has been rock solid and as good as gold all day today
Not sure what witchcraft causes that to always happen, but if it stays good I dont care.

LOL just keep posting, if thats all it takes to get it working...

Judging by your levels its an intermittent fault , so keep the BQM running, that way when it drops again we can diagnose further for you..
