Traffic management on 100mps?

Hi guys.

I can't even recall even getting 100mps ever with my broadband. Can anyone tell me exactly the traffic management on this package cause I'm lucky if I even get 40/50MPS tops

Re: Traffic management on 100mps?

There is not any downstream traffic management but there is upstream traffic management as detailed on VM's website.

How are you connecting wired or wirelessly?

If wireless, try wired directly to the hub with a Cat 5e ethernet cable

Re: Traffic management on 100mps?

Hi there Sco7Tishlaw,

Welcome to the community and thanks for posting.

Sorry to read you are unable to achieve the 100 Mbps broadband speeds.

I would like to help further and check your connection for any issues, however I am unable to see any network details at the moment.

Can you post your router information for me please, for us to check over? To do this type in 192.168.0.1 in the address bar, no need to sign in, on the top right you will see router status. Within here you will have downstream, upstream and network log. You can copy and paste this information, that would be great.

Also, are you testing the speeds through a wired or wireless connection?

Hope to hear from you soon

Sam
