Terrible Speed gets a bit better off peak but not much

I am on the 200meg package and during peak time for the past week I have been getting around 2-3 meg down but 7-10 up so streaming is often buffering and not in HD.

The later into the night the better it gets so for example 10pm tonight it was upto around 10meg then currently 23:45 it is up to 45meg.

After reading other speed threads below is the download stats from the router.  Or is this contention?  If so why on Earth would Virgin upgrade everyone to 200meg a few months ago......

Well I think confirms it is an overloaded network as at 1.00am the download is 114meg down.  Reading through all the posts on here I am glad my contract is up soon as this is just a terrible service given in many parts of the country.

I really do not know how Virgin are getting away with this service?

Many thanks for your post and apologies for the connection issue experienced.

 

I have located your account and I am unable to detect any faults via the equipment levels or network segment.

 

I would, however, suggest changing your wireless channels to help improve this type of connection.
