Super Hub 3.0 best settings for torrenting via VPN?

I am having some issues with torrenting. I'm on the Vivid 200 Gamer package so I'm not being throttled (apparently) yet I'm only getting really slow speeds (all well under 50mbs) when torrenting. I'd like to customise the SuperHub (via logging in at http://192.168.0.1) with the best possible settings for torrenting. Please could someone advise which I should / shouldn't use.

Here's what I currently have (all default):

Advanced Settings > Firewall settings
IPv4 firewall
Firewall protection - ON
Block fragmented IP packets - OFF
Port scan detection - ON
IP flood detection - ON

Advanced Settings > Port Forwarding
Currently no rules set / ports forwarded. I'm going to follow this guide from this forum shortly.

Advanced Settings > Port triggering
Currently no rules set / ports triggered.

If there are any other settings I should change please let me know. I have disabled "Virus Safe" as well (necessary for torrenting?).

Any and all help welcome!

Re: Super Hub 3.0 best settings for torrenting via VPN?

I have set up port forwarding now and turned IP flood detection OFF. Is there anything else from these settings that anyone would advise to optimise?

I would install PeerBlock 1.2 and add some of these ... https://www.iblocklist.com/lists

Also on your torrent client , I would select "Forced" Protocol Encryption on your outgoing and uncheck "Allow Incoming Legacy Connections"
