Sub 1 megabit upload speed in Bromley BR4 for last 10 days

My upload speed since 23rd March 2017 has consistently been under 1 megabit, typically speedtest.net shows 0.01 to 0.3 megabit range.  

This is a significant issue for me with regards online devices I have, which require, 1Mbps for minimal connectivity.

This has been issue for nearly 10 days. 

Having tested via the Virgin account portal, having checked cabling, plus restarted equipment several times, this permanent outage remains a problem.

Download (for my 200 megabit connection) is generally about 130 to 180megabits roughly recently, which is acceptable, so upload is the specific problem here.

As a Sam Knows user, my daily speed testing cycle shows the decline in speed from 23/03, and an increase in packet loss. Latency has not changed at any level.

Is this a common issue in the Bromley (BR4) area?

My last download test, this evening showed 0.11Mbps - I am paying for a 50Mbps service!

Virgin Media have been round twice to check out my router and still I have a problem... Network congestion apparently.

In what other situation would you continue paying for such a poor service ?   Do Ofcom not care, do Trading Standards not care, how are Virgin Media allowed to get away with it?

Thanks for taking the time to post on the community.

 

My apologies you are having an issue with your upload speeds.

 

Looking at your connection, there is an SNR (signal to noise ratio) fault reported in your area. The reference number is F005208881 and has a review date of 10th April.

Otherwise I was unable to see any issues with downstream/upstream traffic on the network. I can see you are using the Hub in modem mode, are you able to complete a speed test direct to the Hub without your equipment attached to see if there is a difference please?
