Streaming Issues

200mb broadband and i cant stream anything without buffering issues?

I have it hard wired and its still buffering..different devices, i have modified settings on each device to get best anti buffering solutions, noting works.

I stream on p2p, netflix, websites, so am i being throttled, when i do speed tests im getting 120mb plus which should not be buffering at all..either i'm being throttled by virgins **bleep** traffic management system or the super hub 2 is only supershit.

can someone look at my connection settings at Virgin end and stop slowing me down, restricting streaming and generally screwing with my service please..

There is no download traffic management. Except p2p traffic, which you say you use



You are right the Superhub is just a basic device, you can always invest in your own device however.

Thanks for taking the time to post back on the community.

 

My apologies that you are experiencing issues with your broadband connection.

 

I've checked your connection and there is a high peak time traffic fault in your area. Our networks team are investigating the problem and are improving bandwidth and performance to help with this issue. The reference number is F004275040 and with a review date of 19th October.

 

One of my colleagues will be in touch shortly with more information in regards to this issue.

Thanks for the reply... why does it take so long for somone to check speeds and faults?

What is a high peak time traffic fault..?? are you throttling my speeds, supposed to be 200mb but im gettimg between 30-60mb wired and the same for wireless (2.4ghz 30 and 5ghz 60)...nowhere near what i should get...i would expect more like 140-160 st least.. and i want a nice steady stable stream without high pings and packet loss..any chance of providing a stable service?

I am on a superhub 2..is this equipment not up to the job?

Why should it take until October 19th to look for a fault..lol. thats over 6 weeks!!

So ill assume that you dont know whats up with the horrible connection then?
You have oversold and cant give us anywherr near what you stated...

You should be took to trading standards for you awful service

What if i decide ill only pay a random factor of my monthly bill as i choose on performance...im sure you will **bleep** the bed if i and everyone else did this...

Sort this out now and not in two months because in two months of this crap and ill be back on sky

Your upstream is broken. Power level is way too high and only 1 channel locked.

It will effect your connection aye.

Needs bringing back down (power level) and also getting back to 2 channels.
