Speedtest 210mbps, actual download of random Data 13.2mbps

Can someone help, Ive called but they say everything is working so they cant send an engineer.  A year ago my I could download data at 100mbps no worries.  Now and espcially since the speed upgrade i can only download data 13-16 mbps, even though tests show line at 210mbps

speedtest.net results

220 down 12up

testmynet actual data download 13.2 down

I dont want to pay for a service I dont get.  How do I get Virgin to investigate?

How's performance actually doing things, rather than an artificial test from a random website?

Maybe try one of the Think Broadband test downloads - http://www.thinkbroadband.com/download.html

Re: Speedtest 210mbps, actual download of random Data 13.2mbps

It sounds like you are affected by the single thread download issue. With this fault, speedtest.net or multithread downloads can reach full speed, but standard downloads are very slow. Unfortunately there isn't anything you can do other than wait for Virgin Media to upgrade your part of the network. I had this problem all last year but it was resolved in December when my connection was switched to a new CMTS.

You need to clean your tongue, it's clearly been used too much. Even the Messiah wouldn't know what everyone's circumstance is., so wind your neck in fella.
