Re: Speed in CT17 area

Thanks for updating the thread Husky0877,

I've checked everything from this end and your account appears to be clear of any active faults relating to this at the moment.

How have things been since posting?

Re: Speed in CT17 area

Hi Husky0877,

Thanks for posting back here.

I've managed to check the screenshots you posted with the speed test results. Were these completed without your equipment attached to the Super Hub?

Can you please try a speed test using Safe Mode with Networking?

Speak soon

Sam

Re: Speed in CT17 area

Just my PC hard wired to the Super Hub, yesterday the max speed I could get was 19.7mb. It isn't just me that is having a problem.  Others in Dover are experiencing the same.vm1.pngvm2.png

Re: Speed in CT17 area

I think you as a company need to address that there is a problem in Dover and get it sorted.

Re: Speed in CT17 area

Think you should check out this thread on the forum as more people are complaining about the lack of speed in Dover.

Interesting that Dover is one of the worst performing areas.

But you can't see any faults.

Re: Speed in CT17 area

There definitely is a problem in Dover. I had an engineer out to replace my blown up v6 box, and when I told him my speeds have gone from consistent 200mb, to now averaging 30mb over the last 6 few months, he told me there are big problems in the Dover area and about 30mb is average at the moment! He did say it was being worked on but had no timescale.

I test mine daily and at different times, have cat6 Ethernet cable direct from the hub which is 2 metres from me so no use robbing us off saying it's our fault with cables etc when I have always had over 200mb up to 232mb on the router and now get between 30-40mb at a push!
