Speed at 3meg on 200vivid

Usual moan I guess, however here I go: past three days my 200vivid has not been past 3meg in speed via wireless or wired, tried all different peices of equipment and still the same. Tried resetting router and changing wireless channel and doesn't change anything. No isses on service status and ran the checker and no issues. The paths on my estate are being replaced would this effect anything? If it would I would of imagined that it would stopped altogether.

Any help or anyone in s12 of Sheffield who has same issues?? Thinking of going back to bt infinity

Disconnected everything reset router and tried to see if that improves things. Just as bad and been like this 3 days now.

Decided I can't carry on with up and down internet...joined virgin from BT infinity as saw the speed increase at cheaper price as a worthwhile jump. Well after 9 months Ive decided to go back to BT as never had any drop outs and contributed 60+ speeds no matter what time of the day.

Have a few months left on virgin contract and will just run that out and say bye bye..but with the speed of my internet the email might take 3 months to arrive 😂

You don't need to wait for the contract to expire its Virgin's problem.

If VM is 100% at fault, utilization (over subscribing) is their problem, then make a formal complaint with VM, after 8 weeks if its not resolved take it to CISAS, follow my simple guide to make it easier.

You can, if you provide enough evidence to CISAS you can get up to, if not more than 50% of your BB costs.

Hit them in their pocket not yours.

SNR is too low. Power levels are also too low on a few channels.

What are the upstream levels?

Hi Dave

Ive packed my laptop away so will do another router stats tomorrow as given up with it. On wireless was getting minimum 76 on a Sunday now getting around 3. Pretty poor that I can't even watch stuff on YouTube without it buffering

Just looked on network log and has a log with the date 1970!!!! What's all that about. Ive reset router twice and still nothing.

Surprised it's working at all. SNR on all downstream channels is too low and some of the power levels are too low, as I said before.

Upstream power level is too high and it looks like you only have one channel locked.

If it's not an area fault you'll need someone to come out and look at it.
