Speed and IP issues total rubbish since said upgrade had enough

Been with Virginmedia / Telewest for years

our speed and router are rubbish

we are based in Essex and our IP shows Liverpool / Manchester ###########

I'm having to reboot the router near enough everyday

I'm actually connecting a brand new pc and using old pc and tablet and mobiles they all show the same results

The service is becoming unreliable

not happy am now considering leaving virginmedia full stop for all services

IP geolocations arn't really that great or trustable.

Takes a while for them to update when they change.




Mine hasn't change in quiet some years but i'm apparently based in Luton/Falkirk/Plymouth/Hook.

I live in Exeter so none of them are correct.

Yes I agree IP Locations aren't bang on full stop are they it also depends on what speed test your using

Think my issue is more todo with the said speed at least 70mb which we aren't getting

our average speed seems to be between 30mb up to 50mb and not the said speed boast 70mb +

I will state that the system I'm using is about the most up to date you can purchase is less than a month old and operates on 5G wifi

I also still have my old windows 10 system which I still use which operates on the older 2.4G system

Also use mobiles on indoor wifi they operate on 5G also

Have test Broadband speed on all equipment 

What ever I've tested BB on still shows same results Speed issue?

I'm thinking it could possibly be the Super hub it's self or a wiring issue?

Because there have been a lot of faults in my area

And we have had times when we have had no Broadband at all due to repairs and maintenance   

perhaps we should give tech a call to get them to investigate
