Speed Upgrade

My Account now says my speed upgrade from 100mb to 150mb is now ready, my dilemma is I was suffering from the dreaded over utilisation problem for 13 months, 4/5 weeks ago a fix was applied and to date apart from a couple of nights which has dropped to about 8mb its been the best I have had it, I don’t want to upgrade then find this causes me to be moved to another box etc. therefore putting me back to the dreaded over utilisation problems, can anyone comment if they have done the speed upgrade successfully are should I stick with what I got?

 If I accept the speed upgrade does anyone know if this ties me into a contract as I am currently out of contract meaning I can leave at any time?

Going for the speed increase by itself won't put you into a new minimum term.
