Speed Issues: How are my power levels (VIVID 200)?

Hi All,

I have been experiencing speed/buffering issues since the new year.  I have reset the super hub 3.0 etc but the power levels seem off.  Can anybody confirm/deny for me?

Hi Lee,

All your power levels, both up and down, are within specification and so is the signal to noise ratio.  You may simply be experiencing over-utilisation in your area dragging the speeds down.

I will check with VM about utilisation in my area 20 (Manchester).

As an aside, those area codes are not really geographic ... they are based on historical billing information from the days before VirginMedia gobbled up several old cable companies.  This is a classic example ... you are area 20 and in Manchester ... I am also area 20 and in leafy Epsom, Surrey.   Funny old world eh.    Smiley Very Happy
